In the real world 2004, Lin is optimistic, smiley, joyful, free spirited and curious. She always questions the world she lives in. Relocating to Takua Pa makes Lin happy because she’s obsessed with stars and planets. The night sky at Takua Pa is clear enough to make Lin see many obvious stars. She usually stays up at night for a long time to look up at the sky and she used to be a member of school astronomy. She loves photography which brings her to meet a new friend named Kath. They instantly befriend and develop to be lovers. They both share their dreams with each other. Kath teaches her diving while Lin teaches Kath using a telescope to see some stars. Uranus is their favorite planet because it looks blue and vastly bright and is so far away that nobody could reach it like in their dreams.
Kath’s ambition to be the best freediver makes Lin believe that her own dream is not imaginary. Lin has the dream and ambition to be an astronaut and explore other planets and travel space. That’s the reason why Lin studied science. She still tries to make her dream come true. She works and studies so hard to complete her goal and never fears any challenge or losing because her dream is what Kath has only done to her. She never throws it away.
In the real world 2024, Lin’s dream comes true because she’s a space scientist and has an opportunity to operate a mission at the international space station. Until she has an accident from solar storms, and she floats away. While she’s closer to her death, she finds herself living in other parallel worlds where Lin and Kath need to unleash something inside for all her life and that makes Lin stop giving up and be alive to come back to the earth.
In the parallel world 2004, Lin is a customer of Kath family’s photoshop where she is in love at first sight with Kath. Her love drives her ambitious to be an astronaut who would explore Uranus in the future.
In the parallel world 1945, Lin is a Chinese opera actress who loves Kath who is a spy of the Free Thai Movement. They’re both in love, like loving at first sight. Until Lin helps Kath escape from the opponent army by sailing a boat before they end tragically among the sea. Kath is shot to death.
The Role of Kath by Becky- Rebecca Patricia Armstrong
In the real world 2004, Kath is cheerful, smiley and funny. She is the beloved of other people around her. She has grown up in a small town of Takua Pa district, Phang Nga. She grew up with the sea, so she loves going to the sea, absorbing fresh air and sunshine. She loves freediving because she always thinks underwater is like another world overlapping the world she lives in. Anyway, her mother keeps opposing her will although it’s only one thing Kath loves the most. Kath thinks diving makes her feel free and challenges her limits. So, Kath joins the freediving competitor to break the world record. She loves Lin and thinks being with Lin makes her bold to do something she loves the most and dreams although she has to oppose her mom’s orders. Two missions in Kath’s life are Lin and freediving.
In the parallel world 2024, Kath as a businesswoman in New York City comes back to her hometown to have a deal with selling her house where she grew up. That house is a photoshop of her dad and she needs to join the freediving competition. Meanwhile she hears news of her ex-girlfriend named Lin as the first Thai astronaut to explore Uranus and feels shocked when Lin has a severe accident during the space mission. While she is trying to break the record with her devastating feelings, she finds something miraculous underwater when she sees Lin as the astronaut saving her life. After she resurfaced, Kath decides to dive again because she believes Lin is alive in somewhere until she floats into another parallel world.
In the parallel world 2004, Kath, a cheerful girl, is ambitious to join the freediving competition with the support of her parents unlike the real world. She loves Lin and her love ignites the passion to make her dream come true. Until there is a giant tsunami that loses her girlfriend.
In the parallel world 1945, Kath joins the Free Thai Movement to fight the Japanese military but gets shot. She runs away and hides in the Chinese opera theater. She is saved by Lin who is an actress. One day, the owner and Lin help Kath to escape from the Japanese.
